Community Action Centre- Nepal (CAC-Nepal) is a Non-Government Organisation who works in the area of women and childrens rights, based in Kathmandu,Nepal Currently, we have 43 staff working as part of the CAC-Nepal team. These include a management team and a direct project team consisting of field supervisors, outreach educators and community mobilisers. We also have medical team including a doctor, nurse, lab technician and counsellor. Currently, CAC-Nepal runs an Integrated Health Programme for Female Sex Workers, (The ASHA Project) and operate two Drop-in-Centres for Female Sex Workers in Bhaktapur and Kathmandu. We have just finished working on a Peace Initiative Programme and and running Constituent Assembly workshops on Civil and Voter Education. We also have a 5 year Strategic Plan for the expansion and development of CAC-N and work closely with VSO Nepal on its implementation.
