Child Health and Environment Save Society (CHESS) Gorkha is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political, non-governmental organization established in 2006 in Gorkha District, Nepal. CHESS Gorkha is a follower autonomous organization of Child Health & Environment Save Society (CHESS) Nepal which was established in 1998 in Lampung. CHESS Gorkha in partnership with funding agencies and partners has been conducting various projects related to integrated Livelihood, Child protection, Education, governance and advocacy program and projects.
Currently CHESS Gorkha is focused on child protection targeting the beneficiaries who were affected by the Earthquake and carrying out projects in partnership with different Funding agencies and partners .In this context, CHESS gorkha in Partnership with World Vision is going to implement "Child Protection in Emergency" In Ghyachhok, Hansapur, Kerabari VDCs and Palungtar municipality. For the mentioned project following staff is required to fulfill immediately:
1. POSITION : CHILD PROTECTION PROJECT COORDINATOR (ONE)
QUALIFICATION
-
· Should have completed Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/ Rural Development/Education. Preference will be given to Master’s Degree.
- Should have computer skill in MS Word, MS Excel, Photoshop & Power Point, with additional typing skills in English and Nepali language.
- Should be fluent in written and verbal in both English and Nepali with effective communication skill.
- Should able to develop and deliver reports, proposals writing, required documentation and presentation skill.
- Should be able to communicate effectively about project expectations, goals, vision and target to team members and stakeholders in proper time.
- Should be able to mentor, motivate, team-player and supervise project team members and influence them to take positive action and accountable for their assigned work intend to community & children’s concern & issues of protection & ensure their rights.
- Should be able to design and conduct technical trainings related to program.
- Should be able to visit 50% at field level, as per the need & requirements of the project .
- Should be flexible in terms of time, mobility and resources mobilization.
- Priority will be given to the Competent, dedicated, honest, experienced candidate and driving license holder for motor-bike.
- Should have at least four-year work experience in related field.
- Should have precise coordination, integration concept & skills with regards to relevant governmental and non- governmental agencies & stakeholders.
- Priority will be given to marginalize & minority groups.
Salary and facilities for above positions will be as per project rules and regulation.
