Call for Participants: Advance Professional Training of Trainers (TOT) & Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) audits and Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) Training.
The Nucleus for Empowerment through Skill Transfer (NEST) invites interested individuals to join two professional residential training courses designed to enhance personal and professional. NEST is a Nepali Non-Government Organization committed to improving the socioeconomic position and dignity of poor and socially excluded people in Nepal through skill transfer and capacity building.
1. Advance Professional Course of Training of Trainers (TOT)
This seven-day residential training aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to perform the entire training cycle.
- Objectives: The course covers training need assessment skills, designing detailed training courses, preparing materials, session planning, using participatory training methods, facilitating training based on adult learning principles, and evaluating and following up on training.
- Dates: September 8, 2025, to September 14, 2025.
- Eligibility: Individuals with at least a bachelor's degree who work in governmental, national, or international NGOs, financial and private institutions, or are teachers and political leaders with training responsibilities can participate.
- Cost: The residential package costs Rs. 28,500.00 (excluding VAT). This covers lodging, meals, training materials, a certificate, and field visit expenses. A non-residential option is available for Rs. 24,500.00 (excluding VAT, lodge, and dinner).

2. Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) Training
This five-day residential training focuses on strengthening knowledge and skills in GEDSI auditing and gender-responsive budgeting.
- Objectives: Participants will learn to explain the concepts of gender, socialization, and social inclusion. The training will also cover analyzing the roles of men and women, explaining the rights of people with disabilities, and describing the purpose and process of GEDSI audits and Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB).
- Dates: September 1, 2025, to September 5, 2025.
- Eligibility: The training is open to individuals with a minimum academic qualification of +2. Participants can come from various professional backgrounds, including social technicians, teachers, rural municipality staff, project focal persons, and freelancers.
- Cost: The residential package costs Rs. 23,000.00 (excluding VAT), which includes lodging, meals, training materials, a certificate, and field visits. A non-residential option is available for Rs. 18,000.00 (excluding VAT, lodge, and dinner).
