Mid-term of IDEAL Project Independent Evaluation

INF Nepal, established in 1952, is a Nepali non-government organization serving Nepali people through health and development work to improve the quality of life of individuals and community as whole. The organization works in four provinces (Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces) of Nepal to bring sustainable improvement in the health and development of individuals and communities by empowering communities, providing health care and preparing for disasters. The major focused thematic areas are (i) livelihood and resilience (ii) disability inclusion/rehabilitation (iii) mother and neonatal child health (iv) leprosy and NTDs. Similarly, gender inclusion and climate change adaptation & disaster resilience are INF Nepal’s cross-cutting thematic areas.

Inclusive Development Empowerment and Livelihood (IDEAL) Project was started in July 2018, with a planning to be concluded in July 2023. However, due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the funding partner TAI has agreed to extend the project for until July 2024. The project has been implementing in Budhinanda and Himali Rural Municipality of Bajura district and Soru Rural Municipality of Mugu district.

The IDEAL Project is funded by Australian NGO Cooperation Programme (ANCP) through TAI. The INF UK is co-funding partner of the project.

INF Nepal invites Expression of Interest (EOI) with technical and financial proposal from the professional/Experts/qualified individuals and company for above mentioned project final evaluation. 

Requirements for the lead consultant/consultancy are: 

  • Proven experience in research, monitoring and evaluation of non-governmental community development structures, process and integrated programs. 
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of group action process, self-help group model and livelihood 
  • The Consultant must possess at least a Master degree from a recognized university and has experience in evaluating livelihood programs. 
  • Consultant/consultancy should be registered in VAT, latest renewal and Tax clearance certificate.
  • The Woman and/or person from disadvantage group meeting the criteria will be given preference and they are highly encouraged to apply.

Interested individual or company to submit the following documentations along with name and CV of Evaluator. 

The INF Nepal right to accept or reject any/all proposal without assigning any reasons, whatsoever.
