Call for Consultancy Service

for

Mediation Training to Judicial Committee Members  and Mediators 

USAID’s Sajhedari- Support to Federalism aims at providing technical assistance to the Government of Nepal (GoN) in transitioning to a federation of provinces with more effective, accountable, responsive, and inclusive local governance. Sajhedari requests the application from qualified and experienced Nepalese professional or consulting firm meeting the following qualifications to conduct Mediation Training to Judicial Committee Members and Mediators. 

Qualification, Experience and Requirement:

• Must have at least a master’s degree in law, social science, peace and conflict or related subjects.
• At least five years of experience in designing and facilitating trainings, reporting and developing/preparing guidelines and manuals.
• Must have registered in PAN or VAT.
• Must have registered in National Mediation Council.
• Should have additional experience in the areas of peace building, GESI, women’s leadership, advocacy and conflict management. 
• Must convincingly demonstrate expertise in identified areas of focus, preferably on other USAID funded projects.
• Experience on develop a JC Working Procedures and Mediation Reference Manual, with reference to the JC working guidelines prepared by MOFAGA, Mediation Act 2011, Mediation regulation 2012 and respective municipality.
• Experience on trainings designee and deliver (refresher and standard mediation training on judicial services), based on the expressed needs of each municipality.
• Local professional or consulting firm are highly encouraged to apply.
