Green Tara Nepal (GTN)

Position: Behaviour Change Communication (BCC)/ Training Officer

Duty Station: Sanfe Bagar, with frequent travel to Achham, Bajhang, and Bajura

Project Duration: 1st September 2025 – 30th April 2030

Reports to: Field Manager Monitoring and Evaluation Officer and Sr. Project manager Manager

Green Tara Nepal (GTN), in partnership with REED Nepal and with financial and technical support from Karuna Deutschland, Karuna Trust, and BMZ, is implementing the Garima – Dignity for Women project. The project aims to eliminate Chhaupadi discrimination practices and promote safe and dignified menstruation, gender equality, and women’s empowerment in Western Nepal.

GTN invites qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the position of Behaviour Change Communication (BCC)/Training Officer to lead the design and implementation of communication materials, trainings, and community outreach activities promoting menstrual health, WASH, and SRHR and provide training to teachers, women groups, FCHVs, Traditional healers, school girls and boys, health facility operation management committee, palika and ward representatives and health works.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Science, Gender Studies, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in behaviour change communication, facilitation, and IEC/BCC material development.
  • Strong understanding of gender, social inclusion, menstrual health and hygiene, and community mobilization.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, training and facilitation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to rural and remote communities.
