| 2 | Consultant- Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) | - Attain preparatory in-person meetings with FWD and National health training center (NHTC) for review and revision of the Newborn care package as required
- Review of the existing essential newborn care package, helping mother survive, helping baby breathe, and SNCU training package and develop appropriate modular package including strengthening referrals services to SNCU and neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) targeting nursing staff/health workers of birthing centers/basic emergency obstetrics and newborn care centers

- Review the existing MSS guidelines, tools and reporting formats of hospital and Health facility focusing on MNCH (including comprehensive emergency obstetrics and newborn care center (CEmON)C, BEmONC and Birthing centers) and Nutrition (Breastfeeding and SAM management) related indicators
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas requiring update, simplification and further clarifications in maternal newborn health, child health, and nutrition sections.
- Support FWD and Curative Services Division (CSD) to develop an initial draft
- Support the FWD and CSD in organizing a draft review and dissemination meeting, facilitating the collection of feedback and recommendations, and incorporating inputs from FWD and the TWG into the final document.
