SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali State and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Advocacy Against Inequality, (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Inclusive and Informal Education, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.

2. Position: WASH Officer (WASHO)

11. Position: MEAL, Documentation & Reporting Coordinator (MEAL DRC)

Summary of the Post: The position holder will execute all MEAL and Documentation related interventions to strengthen MEAL system and documentation in the organization especially on Sahayatra III Project. The Position holder will support in capacity building of Project team, leading to establish and functionalize MEAL system, conducting quality monitoring, ensure accountability by coordinating and mobilizing project staffs

S/He will work in the direct supervision/management of the Program Manager in the Project site office. S/He will work in close coordination/collaboration with relevant government institutions based in the Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality to ensure necessary involvement of the relevant stakeholders. S/He represents Education theme of SOSEC Nepal at District level  and Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality in different forums, meetings and consultations on policy and technical issues.

S/He will responsible to provide support for field level (field and district level) communication, documentation and reporting related matters, process with analysis of learning kept in place for further sharing. The position will provide information, reporting and media related support to the Sahayatra III project in coordination with the media and communication department in field office and  district. At times, she is support to develop capacity of staff in close coordination with technical team at Save the Children to implement this project through various approaches.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education/Management, Social Science or any discipline
• Preferred the candidates who worked as MEAL, Reporting and  Documentation officer for Sahayatra Project at least three years  with Bachelor’s Degree and SC funded projects
• Minimum 5 years (3 years for GSI group*). Experience in related field especially in MEAL and Reporting roles
