SOSEC Nepal, established in 1997, is a non-governmental organization dedicated to enhancing the socio-economic and cultural well-being of rural communities. As a non-profit and non-political organization, SOSEC Nepal collaborates closely with government initiatives, focusing on comprehensive development. Founded by like-minded youths of Dailekh, the organization ensures inclusivity for marginalized groups, including Dalit communities, children, women, and diverse ethnicities. With a primary goal of promoting human rights, health, education, community-based disaster risk reduction, and agricultural development, SOSEC Nepal implementing projects that address the genuine needs of communities, emphasizing skill development over mere input support. The organization operates in coordination & Collaboration with various donors and government agencies across districts in Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces, such as Dailekh, Kalikot, Surkhet, Jajarkot, Rukum-west, and Achham Lumbini Province Dang, Kapilbastu  . SOSEC Nepal strives to foster positive socio-economic and cultural change. We are following the zero-tolerance policy on violence against women, children and corruption.

Position: Program Coordinator (1-one)

Duty Location: Based in Dailekh district headquarters with frequent visit to project areas

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Coordinator is a key position that oversees the SOSEC program and will provide necessary guidance and support to the program team so that the program activities are carried out timely and effective. He/She will formulate and implement the plans and other activities carried out in the working areas in close coordination with senior management and funding partner organizations. He/She will be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and reporting of plans and activities in coordination with Government offices, community members, Palikas, school and other stakeholders at the local level.

Position: Advocacy Reporting and Documentation coordinator (1-one)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Reporting and Documentation Coordinator manages key compliances of projects and other policies. This position is Responsible for reporting and documentation of the project as per the need of the project implemented by SOSEC Nepal. He/She is responsible to prepare reports and documents for senior management regarding the status of the project. Similarly, he/she play supportive role in proposal development, EOI documentation and preparing and submission of the concept note. He/she involves in organization development and fundraising part for the organization. The position is based in Dailekh district headquarters with frequent visit to project areas.

Position: MEAL Officer (1-one) female only

Under the supervision of the MEAL Officer, for routine monitoring of the project, data collection, quality assurance, implementation of key MEAL tools and establishment of community complaints and feedback mechanisms. The MEAL Assistant will also be responsible for recording and monitoring feedback, ensuring that the feedback mechanisms loop is closed, and that clients are informed of decisions taken.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Admin and Finance officer will be based in the Central Office, Dailekh. He/She will be responsible for providing overall Finance and Administration support to the organization and assigned project to ensure that all the financial, operational, and administrative functions are adhered to the required compliance of the organization, funding partner’s and governmental regulations. This position will have crucial role in maintaining financial transparency, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting the organizational and project’s mission from the provincial level. Under the direct supervision of Admin & Finance manager, he/she will work closely with the program team and other departments within the organization. He/She will also be responsible for coordinating with the supply chain department, procurement committees on procurement and payment procedure

He/She should ensure the compliance of the partner agency in the project and guide the project by providing evidence-based data, cases, and stories.
