Association for Social Transformation and Humanitarian Assistance (ASTHA) Nepal is Nonprofit, non-government and nonpolitical Humanitarian development organization. ASTHA Nepal is implementing its Integrated Protection and Community Engagement Project with the partnership of World Vision International Nepal in Mellkeh Rural Municipality and Sanafebagar Municipality of Achham West Cluster and Panchadewal Binayak Municipality and Kamalbazar Municipality of Achham East Cluster. Now ASTHA Nepal Achham is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on the following positions for smooth implementation of project with potential candidates.

Programme Coordinator -1

  • Bachelor's Degree in the given sector, management, social science or business studies with minimum of 5 years working experience in managing multiple projects with diverse team or 
  • Master's degree in the relevant field, management, social science of business studies preferred with minimum of 3 years of work experience in managing multiple projects with diverse team
  • Proven ability to manage risks and promote governance to contribute on strategic outcomes
  • Experience working with children and their wellbeing in both development or emergency context
  • Portfolio Management (portfolio programme, reports, risks, problem solving, team, governance) 40%
  • Solid Programme Quality and Technical Management (MEAL data/information, technical programme, project models, integration of sectors including sponsorship/cross-cutting themes-GESI, DRR)  20%
  • Community empowerment and engagements at different level for sustainability – 15%
  • Evidence of Programs Impact or Result collection/compilation to be shared at/for wider platform 15%
  • Strong Relationship and Partnership Management (internal and external) – 10%

Protection Field  Mobilizers -2

  • Intermediate in relevant discipline with at least 2 years experiences on child protection projects in similar capacity or having strong social mobilization skills
  • Knowledge on empowerment approaches and able to mobilize 
  • Basic Knowledge on child protection system and protection of children
  • Basic Knowledge on life skills approach 
  • Basic understanding on community system strengthening to protect children in the community
  • Facilitate and Support in the formation  of Local level child rights committee in target area mostly in the municipal level
  • Facilitate in the participation and selection of teachers, parents. Life skills group, Child Clubs from the most vulnerable area to make them participate in the projects 
  • Support providing local information as required to the Field Officer and MEAL Coordinator to update database on the local child rights committee and other groups
  • Support municipal/Ward level Child Rights Committee, child monitoring committees to organize meeting and be part of it. 
  • Organize the local ward level meetings and events in coordination with the government and community groups 
  • Mobilize the Peer educators to track the progress of the adolescents participating in the life skills group
  • Report the child protection incidents happening in the community to the formal system
  • Report the CP cases to NGO – Safeguarding Focal Point if there are any cases of Registered Children timely and also raise awareness in the community about safeguarding measures and compliances 
  • Support in the implementation of CFLG activities under the CP &CESP programme
