Village Development and Save the Environment Forum (VDSEF) Nepal is a non-profit organization working in Kalikot district for more than 24 years in the fields of child rights, health and nutrition, climate change, poverty reduction, and protecting and promoting the economic, social, and Cultural rights of marginalized and disadvantaged communities. VDSEF Nepal aims has aim to promote peace, stability, and sustainable development in Kalikot district. VDSEF Nepal has previous working experience collaborating with different civil society organizations (CSOs) and government authorities to improve child rights, health and nutrition, climate change, livelihoods, and human rights in marginalized and vulnerable communities, such as women, including single mothers, youths, children, friendly and elderly persons, Dalits, and ethnic minorities.SAHAYATRA-III Project has been implementing Tilagupha municipality and Subhakalika rural municipality in partnership of Save the Children SAHAYATRA-III Project, the project envisions securing rural vulnerable children’s rights to education, protection, resilience, and sexual and reproductive health, leaving no child behind's Nepal is actively engaged in programs focusing on education, Child rights Governance (CRG)and Child Protection (CP) sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and climate change in Kalikot district. VDSEF Nepal is currently inviting applications from qualified Nepali citizens committed to delivering results for the following positions:

Vacancy Positions

1. Project Manager, 1 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipal

Summary: This is a key position to lead all activities through the mobilization of the project coordinator and field officer of education, CRG, child protection, SHRH, climate change, and green jobs, as well as the overall project team, to ensure the result of the project under Sahayatra III.

Qualifications: Master's degree in management, social work, development studies, law, human rights, and other relevant subjects with at least 3 years of working experience in project management. Bachelor’s degree in the same subject with 5 years of working experience in project management.

2. Project Coordinator, Education, 1 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality

Summary: This is a key position to lead education activities through the mobilization of field officers in education to ensure the result of the project under the education theme.

Qualifications: Master's degree in education, management, social science, development studies, law, human rights, and other relevant subjects with at least 3 years of working experience in education. Bachelor’s degree in the same subject with 5 years of working experience in education projects.

3. Pedagogical Resource Persons: 2 Positions

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality, and Tilagufa Municipality

Summary: The position will be responsible for model class demonstrations, class observation, and providing teachers with technical pedagogical skills, grade-appropriate learning materials development, integrated curriculum-based teaching skills, lesson plan preparation, and other teaching methodologies and techniques.

Qualifications: Master's degree in education, management, or other relevant subject with at least 2 years of working experience in education. Bachelor’s degree in the same subject with 5 years of working experience in education projects.

4. Project Coordinator: CRG and CP-1 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality

Summary: This is a key position to lead CRG&CP activities through the mobilization of field officers to ensure the result of the project under child rights governance and the child protection theme.

Qualifications: Master's degree in social work, development studies, law, human rights, and other relevant subjects with at least 2 years of working experience in CRG&CP;or Bachelor’s degree in the same subject with 5 years of working experience in CRG&CP projects.

5. Project Coordinator, SRHR-1 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality

Summary: This is a key position to lead SRHR activities through the mobilization of field officers to ensure the result of the project under the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights theme.

Qualifications: Master's degree in public health with 2 years of working experience. Or Bachelor's degree in public health or nursing with 3 years of demonstrated work experience in health-related projects.

6. Project Coordinator: Climate Change and Green Jobs, 1 Position

Summary: This position is key to climate change and green jobs activities through the mobilization of field officers to ensure the result of the project under the climate change and green jobs theme.

Qualifications: Master's degree in environment science, natural resource management, and climate change with at least 2 years of working experience in a related field;Or Bachelor's degree in environment science, natural resource management, and climate change with at least 3 years of working experience in a related field.

7. Admin and Finance Coordinator, 1 Position

Qualifications: Master's degree in management or BBS/BBA and having 3 years’ experience in project management and implementation. Or Bachelor's degree in management with 5 years of working experience.

8. MEAL, Documentation, and Reporting Coordinator, 1 Position

Summary: This is a key position to lead the MEAL, documentation, and reporting functions of the organization.

Qualifications: Master's degree in management, social science, and having 3 years’ experience in project monitoring, supervision, evaluation, reporting, and documentation, as well as in research. 10. Field Officer-Education-3 Position

Summary: This position will be responsible for leading community and school-level education activities in close coordination with wards, ward education committees, schools, SMC/PTA, CBOs, and community members.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education with 3 years of work experience in a related field. Or Intermediate degree's education with 5 years of work experience.

11. Field Officer (CRG) and CP-3 Position

Summary: This position will be responsible for leading community and schoolCRG and CP activities in close coordination with wards, WCRC, child clubs, adolescence, schools, CBOs, care givers and community members.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social science, education, or a related subject with at least 3 years of working experience in CRG&CP or Intermediate degree's social science, education, and related subject with at least 5 years of working experience in CRG&CP.

12. Field Officer, SRHR-2 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality

Summary: This position will be responsible for leading community-level SRHR activities in close coordination with health workers, mentors, HFOMC, youth groups, and other community-level stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing with 1 year of working experience in a related field.

PCL nursing and H.A. with 2 years of demonstrated work experience in health-related projects.

13. Field Officer: Climate Change and Green Jobs, 2 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality

Summary: This position will be responsible for leading community and school-level climate change and green jobs activities in close coordination with wards, schools, CBOs, and community members.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in environment science, natural resource management, or climate change with at least 3 years of working experience in a related field.

Intermediate degrees in environment science, natural resource management, and climate change with at least 5 years of working experience in related fields.

14. Construction Officer, 1 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Subhakalika Rural Municipality

Summary: The position holder will be responsible for carrying out the overall prescribed construction works of the SAHAYATRA-III project at the field level in terms of field survey and site assessment, preparing an estimate report, and implementing the schemes, ensuring the desired quality. S/he will be responsible for orienting labor and construction committee members before and during construction or renovation work to ensure the quality of work based on the provided guidelines and instructions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil) with at least 1 year of working experience in a related field.

Diploma of engineering (sub-engineering—civil) with 3 years of working experience in a related field

15. Case Worker: 1 Position

Location: Kalikot District, Project Office, Tilagufa Municipality

Summary: This position holder will be responsible for liaison and coordination with the respective palika and responsible to ensure some follow-up activities designed under SAHAYATRA-III with the support of the project coordinator and other staff. s/he will be responsible for case Management, Successful Close out of case under cash management process systematic documentation, record-keeping, reporting, and close coordination with concern with WCRC, police, OCMC other  stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor's in social work, or any discipline PGD in psychological counseling, or six-month counseling training with two years of working experience with children / knowledge of case management

Intermediate equivalent with at least 5 years' experience working with children. Knowledge of case management is desired.
