CARE Nepal hereby invites applications, for the below mentioned positions, from interested Nepalese candidates. (Click on the links below for the more Job details): 

1. GBV Manager  

The GBV Manager is responsible for CARE Nepal efforts to strengthen gender and GBV/ GBV in Emergencies (GBV/iE) integration into country programming and, to support development and/or implementation of transformative programming approaches and models that support attainment of greater impact at scale. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring technical quality of CARE’s GBV/iE) mainstreaming and standalone programming through support to program design and resource mobilization; implementation; monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL); and research and policy work.

2. Manager- Biodiversity, Resilience and Climate Change  

The Manager- Biodiversity, Resilience and Climate Change is responsible to support CARE Nepal’s climate justice, resilience, natural resource management, and women economic empowerment initiatives. The position is responsible for stakeholder coordination, implementation and reporting of the natural resource management, climate change, watershed, resilience, waste management and biodiversity and environment related projects. Depending on the situation, the incumbent may need to take a very active role in technical co-ordination, policy analysis and advocacy, needs assessment for new business development, knowledge brokering and stakeholder liaison.

3. HR and Special Project Associate   

The HR & Special Projects Associate provides administrative support to the Human Resources department (55%), as well as targeted support to the Country Director and other Senior Management Team members (Business Development, Communications, Finance, Programs) for priority special projects and initiatives of the organization (45%).

4. Social Movements and CSO Engagement Manager   

The Social Movements and CSO Engagement Manager is primarily responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic partnership with movement-based organizations and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), including inviting some to formally contribute to CARE’s Network of Partners. The role also involves supporting social movements and strengthening the capacity of the Network of Partners members. As a representatives of CARE Nepal, the manager will participate in CSO-led platforms and networks to build relationships, explore partnership opportunities with diverse social movements and credible CSOs.

5. Driver - Re-advertisement (ARH) – based in Janakpur

This position is responsible for transportation of staff, goods and other logistics of the project with proper maintenance of vehicles ensuring safety and security. Local candidates will be given priority and encouraged to apply.
