Head Teachers Training on Leadership and Management
1. Background:
Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA), Haripur 2, Sarlahi has been implementing a Sponsorship Program in Ishworpur and Haripur Municipality of Sarlahi district with technical & financial support of Save the Children and in coordination/collaboration with Palikas. The organization is working in the field of gender equity, social inclusion, economic promotion, peace establishment and safer migration in Sarlahi district. Primarily, RWUA works for the social and economic empowerment of backward communities by strengthening their structural standard or capacity. It also acts as a facilitator, to enable the community to move forward by the process of self-learning through experience. Since the establishment of the organization, it has been working at the local level to facilitate poor, socio-culturally & sexually marginalized groups and conflict-affected people.
RWUA seeks to recruit a facilitator/expert to conduct Leadership and Management Training to Head Teachers.
2. Objectives
- To head teacher leadership and management capacity for quality education.
- To develop headteachers leadership skills, including communication, decision-making and conflict resolution
3. Scope of Work:
a. Training Design:
- Conduct a thorough needs assessment to understand the specific requirements and challenges faced by the community school.
- Develop a detailed training curriculum outlining the topics to be covered each day, including theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and group discussions.
- Incorporate interactive activities and case studies to facilitate active participation and practical learning.
- Ensure alignment with the SESP, SIP, School Audit, Real Plan, and National Education Policy.
b. Training Delivery:
- Facilitate engaging and interactive sessions over 5 days, following the designed curriculum
- Utilize a variety of instructional techniques to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
- Encourage active participation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participants.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to individuals and teams throughout the training.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes open communication and mutual respect.
c. Evaluation and Feedback:
- Implement pre-training and post-training assessments to measure participants' knowledge gain and skill improvement.
- Collect feedback from participants regarding the effectiveness of the training content, delivery methods, and overall experience.
- Analyze evaluation data to identify strengths, areas for improvement, and recommendations for future training initiatives.
4. Deliverables:
- Training Curriculum: A detailed outline of the 5-day training program, including session objectives, topics, activities, and materials.
- Training Materials: PowerPoint presentations, handouts, worksheets, and other resources used during the training sessions.
- Training Report: A comprehensive report summarizing the evaluation results, feedback from participants, and recommendations for further action must be submitted to the RWUA.
5. Timeline:
Training delivery: 5 consecutive days 2 events including reporting and content development.
6. Budget:
- The RWUA will provide the necessary resources, including venue, equipment, and materials, for the successful execution of the training program.
- The Facilitator cost and payment will be mentioned in the agreement.
7. Qualifications:
- The training facilitator should possess expertise in Head Teacher Leadership and Management
- The Facilitator must have experience in management Teacher Leadership training for more than 3 years.
- Previous experience in designing and delivering similar training programs is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills are essential.
8. Service Duration and Location
The consultant will be working in close coordination with the Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA) team. The location and date of the training will be decided by RWUA.
Required Documents for Submitting Proposal Firms:
- Cover letter.
- A brief concept notes highlighting the methodological design with budget.
- Bio-data of the team members/s. (ToT certificate of individuals-Head Teacher Leadership and Management).
- Firm Registration & Renewal certificate.
- Copy of VAT Registration Certificate and Latest Tax clearance certificate.
- Total cost for training with transportation, accommodation and fooding.

- A brief concept notes highlighting the methodological design with budget

- Pan card.
- Total cost for training with transportation, accommodation and fooding.
9. Nature of the consultancy: Individual or individuals under a team leader.
After signing the agreement, event completion and event report submission payment will be done.
EOI Submission Details
Interested and eligible audit firms must submit their technical and financial details in a sealed envelope within the deadline, along with the required documents mentioned above, to the address below or via email to vacancy@rwua.org by 5 PM on August 09, 2024. RWUA, Haripur, Sarlahi reserves the right to reject any submission without providing reasons. Any attempt to influence the decision will result in automatic disqualification.
10. Payment Modality:
The payment will be made based on the task completed and according to the Contract agreement. full payment should be made within a week of events completion and report submission.
