Job Description: We’re seeking a creative, mission-driven Social Media Creator based in Bhaktapur or Kathmandu who can craft entertaining, visually engaging short videos and photos that honor the Unatti ethos — authenticity, dignity, joy, and hope.

You’ll work closely with our all-women team and girls residing in Unatti Shelter Home to capture real moments of daily life, learning, laughter, and leadership, transforming them into stories that inspire donors and followers around the world. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce creative short-form video and photo content for Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, and YouTube.
• Brainstorm fun, fresh, and culturally relevant content ideas that reflect the voices and personalities of Unatti girls and staff.
• Capture authentic daily life moments at the Unatti Shelter Home, in schools, and at community events.
• Edit and deliver polished, engaging social media posts that align with Unatti Foundation’s tone and message.
• Collaborate with the Nepal and USA communications teams to ensure brand consistency and storytelling integrity.
• Stay up to date with social media trends while maintaining sensitivity to Unatti's values of respect, empowerment, and authenticity.

Qualifications 

• Proven experience in social media content creation (photo + video).
• Strong understanding of storytelling through visuals and captions.
• Skilled in basic editing tools (mobile or desktop).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and short-form storytelling.
• Creative thinker with a heart for social impact.
• Must be based in Bhaktapur or Kathmandu and able to visit the Unatti Shelter Home regularly.

Preferred

• Experience working with non profits or youth organizations.
• Photography or videography background.
• Passion for women’s empowerment and education.

Salary: The position is part-time and contract-based. Remuneration will be provided on an hourly basis, as per the organizational policy.

Your ideas should demonstrate creativity, alignment with Unatti Foundation’s mission, and your ability to connect emotionally with audiences through storytelling. Concepts may be shared as short written descriptions, outlines, or simple visual mockups.

Your campaigns should: 

• Be emotion-led, poetic, and human
• Avoid being literal, explanatory, or informational
• Align deeply with Unatti's values of dignity, sisterhood, transformation, and possibility
