POSITION: Sexual and Reproductive Health Coordinator
Base: Bachelor’s Degree in staff nursing
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Sexual and Reproductive Health Coordinator is the technical responsible for all SRH activities in the programme:
- Assessment, monitoring and evaluation of SRH
- Technical coordination of SRH activities
- Design and supervision of monitoring activities
- Responsible for the design, the implementation and the supervision of trainings, at times the SRH coordinator will also be trainer
- Capacity building and mentoring of SRH team
- Human resources management, including supervision and evaluation, of SRH team
- Coordination with NGOs, international organizations & local associations in Ramechhap
- Co-responsible for the monthly activity report, together with the MHPS coordinator
- Assistance to the general coordinator in donor reporting
- Assistance to the general coordinator in the development and realization of MdM’s country strategy
- Regular context analysis in order to be able to timely adapt if needed
- Coordinate with other delegations of MdM in the country promoting the alignment of operational approaches
- Representation of MdM in all SRH related fora and meetings
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in staff nursingor a related field (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s Degree in staff nursing or midwifery (mandatory) and SBA trained
- At least 3 years of experience in implementing health projects (mandatory)
- Experience in team management with at least 2 years of experience with an INGO or international partner in health (Mandatory).
- Practical experience in programme implementation, including experience in needs assessment and project evaluation.
- Good analytic skills
- Some pedagogic and/or training skills are welcome
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Capacity to develop partnerships, with authorities, communities and other stakeholders
- Pedagogic / trainer skills
- A good listener with excellent communication skills and diplomatic attitude
- Diplomacy, reactivity, anticipation, adaptability, capacity to take initiatives
- Good computer skills.
- Personal gender awareness and sensitiveness; capable of guaranteeing the inclusion of a gender perspective in all activities developed
