As our innovative and passionate Senior Advisor – WASH in Public Health you will coordinate with WaterAid Nepal (WAN) internal and external teams and partners including government, to provide strategic contribution to strengthen WASH in Public Health policy and advocacy work.

In this role, you are responsible to: 

  • Develop health and WASH policy and programme concepts to inform the design of such initiatives to deliver WAN strategic priorities. 
  • Identify and ensure delivery of relevant research, advocacy and campaign initiatives for Health and WASH 
  • Provide technical support for programme development and fundraising
  • Ensure PMER core procedures are followed in all relevant and related areas of public health and WASH work including high quality PPRs for periodic reflection, review and learning

To be successful, you’ll need to have 

  • Master’s in Public Health or relevant discipline
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in similar managerial roles
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar role
  • Experience and understanding of working modality of Health sector
  • IT skills particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in WASH or public health programme delivery and coordination of programme/project
  • Good communication skills in written and verbal English and Nepali, with good interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills and experience 
  • Ability to create networks between HCFs, local governments and stakeholders that further sustain behavioural change interventions.
