Supply of AgriPath Branded Merchandise

Organization Background

iDE is a global team of more than 1,000 changemakers coming from diverse backgrounds within international development and the private sector. What we all have in common is the belief that one entrepreneur can change their community, and millions can change the world. When Paul Polak founded International Development Enterprises (iDE) in 1982, his idea that business was the solution to poverty was new and untested. Over forty years later, Paul’s concept has been proven not only by iDE but also by the increasing number of established and new organizations that have embraced this approach.

Our work stands out in the international development arena. We are driven to end poverty but do not provide handouts of supplies or cash. Instead, we believe that everyone has the ability to increase their livelihoods and build long-term resilience by their own accord. They may just need training or connections to suppliers and customers. That’s where we come in and what we mean when we say we are 'powering entrepreneurs to end poverty.'

Project Background

AgriPath is a multi-country research and implementation consortium led by the University of Bern, with partners including Grameen Foundation USA, Grameen Foundation India, ICIPE, FarmBetter, Kilimo Trust, SEMUS, and iDE Nepal. The project aims to support 150,000 smallholder farmers (30–50% women) to increase productivity, income, and climate resilience through the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices via digitally supported agricultural advisory services (DAS).In Nepal, iDE leads implementation and requires branded merchandise to ensure effective visibility and professional presentation across all training programs, workshops, and community events.
