1. Introduction / Background

Ratauli Yuwa Club (RYC), Jaleshwar Mahottari is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1990 (2047 B.S.) to promote social reform in the Mahottari district as youth-led organization.

RYC focuses on empowering women and marginalized communities through integrated development programs. Its experienced team delivers impactful results in areas such as child rights, healthcare, education, and emergency preparedness.

The purpose of this EOI is to invite interested qualified contractors to express their interest in performing the required repair and maintenance works. Following this EOI, shortlisted parties will be invited to submit detailed proposals or bids as per the procurement regulations of RYC or donor agency.

The project, implemented by RYC in partnership with Save the Children and funded by the SAARC Development Fund, aims to enhance the quality of education of district by improving school and ECCD infrastructures through construction, renovation, and quality supervision.

2. Scope of Services and Works

• The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: structural repairs, roofing, painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical work, and other routine and preventive maintenance to ensure the building’s safety, durability, and functionality as follows:
• Construction, Maintenance and repair of foundations, walls, columns, beams, ramp, floor, etc.
• Repair, replacement of flooring, tiling, plastering of walls, RCC/CGI sheet roofing, etc.
• Painting of internal and external walls, roofs, etc.
• Repairing of doors, window frames including change of Sal Frame and Shutter
• Complete electrical wiring, repairs or re-wiring, lighting, and child-safe fixture
• Construction and maintenance of child-friendly toilets, accessible facilities
• Plumbing, water supply, site drainage, rainwater management, proper waste and disposal system
• Repairing and construction of child-friendly WASH facilities
• Construction and maintenance of fencing, gate, footpath, play area, etc
