Item Description: Solar Component

Specification: Quotation for Solar Component

• Supplier/Vendor needs to attach Detail specification of the model proposed.

• Supplier/Vendor can also propose any new technology with its detailed specification and costs other than the aforementioned one;

• Mention Number of Years warranty, Repair and maintenance facility, Operation and maintenance manual and training to WUSC/VMW/field technicians.

• Solar Pump Specifications documents: Solar pumps shall be hybrid pumps, which can be run through both types of energy sources; solar photovoltaic and national grid electricity. The suppliers shall provide a warranty of at least 2 years on the services of each part of the pumps.

• Solar PV Modules documents:  The modules shall be poly-crystalline/ multi crystalline type. The suppliers shall provide a warranty of at least 25 years on the solar PV modules against the technical defects, manufacturing defects and efficiency loss more than the specified.

• Pump Controller documents: They shall be compatible to operate the pumps of both energy sources (solar Photovoltaic and national grid electricity) and hybrid energy. The warranty shall be of at least 2 years from the date of the installation.

Suppliers Eligibility Requirements:

• Cover Letter for submission of the quotation;

• Tax Registration/Tax Payment Certificate issued by the Internal Revenue Authority evidencing that the contractor is updated with its tax payment obligations, or Certificate of Tax Exemption, if any such privilege is enjoyed by the Bidder;

• Certificate of Registration of the business, including Articles of Incorporation, or equivalent document if contractor is not a corporation

• Quality Certificate (e.g.,ISO, etc.) and/or other similar certificates, accreditations, awards and citations received by the supplier/contractor, if any;

• Valid ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and IEC/IS/NEPQA Quality Assurance Certification of the proposed product especially solar pump & panel;

• Company Profile and relevant experience in design, supply, and installation of solar pumping schemes.

Payment Terms:

• 20% Mobilization upon signing of the agreement;
