LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local initiatives for sustainable management of renewable natural resources and improving the livelihoods of rural people in Nepal.

Preparation of Forecast-based Action Protocol (SoPs) for Flood and Drought and Learning Document
LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local resources, innovations and institutions for the sustainable management of natural resources and building resilience to climate change for improving the livelihoods of target beneficiaries that includes smallholder farmers particularly women in Nepal.
LI-BIRD has been implementing a project entitled “Easing and de-risking transition to climate resilient food production for enhanced self-reliance in humanitarian contexts [Novo Derisking Agroecology Project]” funded by the Novo-nordisk foundation and managed by DanChurchAid (DCA Nepal) in Barbardiya Municipality of Bardiya district.
One of the objectives of the project is to assess existing external and internal evidence, good practices and lessons learned on the transition to sustainable, climate resilient agroecology-based food production for enhanced food security and self-reliance in the face of climate shocks and stresses. Especially focused on flood and drought.
Thus, LI-BIRD invites proposals from qualified consultants/private firms or a team of experts to accomplish the aforementioned tasks. The interested applicants need to fill up the Request for Proposal Form (Annex 2: Organization and Methodology Form and Annex 3: Proposal Submission Form) which can be downloaded from the link below:

The Terms of Reference (ToR) is annexed as Annex 1 in the Request for Proposal Form. The applicants are requested to thoroughly read the Request for Proposal Form and fill in the required information (Annex 2 and Annex 3). Submit the duly filled and signed Request for Proposal Form within the mentioned deadline.
Interested applicants are requested to submit the proposal by 30 July 2025, 5.00 pm by email, courier or hand delivery to the either of the following two address below:

The proposal must be written in the English language. The proposal received after the deadline will not be entertained and considered for further evaluation. A proposal that does not meet the requirements will be discarded. Proposals that meet the requirements and offer the best value for money will be considered for the further evaluation process. LI-BIRD reserves the right to accept or reject, wholly or partly any or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever.
