Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA) was established on 22 Kartik, 2050 B.S. at Sarlahi District of Madesh Province, Nepal. It is a non-governmental and non-profit social organization that is well-established and prominent and works as a change agent in the area of women empowerment and community development in the Sarlahi district. The long-term experiences in the area of community development and women’s Upliftment have made it the organization easy to organize the community for positive changes over their own for the last 32 years. This is a women-headed organization and the majority of executive members are women. It works with a mission to improve the lives of people through economic, social, cultural, and physical transformation. It has been implementing several projects in Sarlahi District in the partnership.

RWUA invites applications from interested qualified and eligible candidates (Nepali citizens only) who are reliable, accountable, and have the ability to deliver results with the highest level of integrity for the following positions under Save the Children Partnership (SDF) projects in the Sarlahi district.

PROJECT: Partnership for Quality Inclusive Early Childhood Development & Basic Education.

1. Position Title: Sr. Project Coordinator

No. Of Position: 1

Level: Coordinator 

Location: Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA), Haripur

Reports to: Executive Director/Chairperson/Focal Person/ SCI Project Manager

Supervises: Project Team – SDF (Infrastructure Coordinator, Finance Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator, MEAL Officer, Education Officers)

Field Area: Sarlahi and other delegated locations/ SDF Program area

Field Engagement: Approx. 40% time in field monitoring and verification

Budget responsibilities: SDF Project budgets

Child Safeguarding Statement:

The position holder will have frequent contact with children and/or young people. S/he must comply with the RWUA’s Child Safeguarding Policy, PSEAH Policy, and Code of Conduct, maintaining the “dual adult” rule during any child engagement.

2. Position Title: Infrastructure Coordinator

Program Context

Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA), in partnership with Save the Children, is implementing project “Partnership for Quality Inclusive Early Childhood Development & Basic Education” by SAARC Development Fund to improve the quality of education for children in Sarlahi district. As part of the initiative, the program supports the Construction and Renovation of school and ECCD infrastructures. This role is established to ensure the quality delivery of infrastructure components through effective supervision, coordination, contract management and community engagement.

3. Position Title: Finance Coordinator

Level: Coordinator

Location: Rural Women Upliftment Association (RWUA), Haripur

Reports to: Admin Finance Coordinator, Sr. Project Coordinator, and Save the Children

Supervises: Finance & Admin Assistant

Field Area: Sarlahi and other delegated locations

Child Safeguarding Statement

This role requires regular direct interaction with children and/or young people. The position holder must strictly adhere to RWUA’s Child Safeguarding Policy, the Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) Policy, and the Code of Conduct. The dual-adult rule must be maintained at all times when interacting with children.

4. Position Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

Reports to: Sr. Project Coordinator

Supervises: Supply Chain Officer

Field Area: Sarlahi and other delegated locations/ SDF Program area

Field Engagement: Approx. 40% time in field monitoring and verification

Role Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) is responsible for leading and ensuring efficient, transparent, and compliant supply chain operations for the SDF Program, including procurement, logistics, fleet, asset, and inventory management. The SCC will ensure all the processes align with RWUA and donor policies and play a key role in supporting field implementation, financial tracking, and administrative functions.

Child Safeguarding Responsibilities

This role involves both direct and indirect interaction with children. The SCC must strictly follow RWUA’s Child Safeguarding Policy, PSEAH Policy, and Code of Conduct, ensuring child-safe practices during all professional activities. A dual-adult rule must be followed during interactions involving minors.

5. Position Title: MEAL Officer

Field Engagement: Approx. 70% time in field monitoring and verification

Child Safeguarding

The MEAL Officer will frequently interact with children and youth. S/he must fully comply with RWUA's Child Safeguarding Policy and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) policy. The dual adult rule must be followed during any engagement with children or youth.

6. Position Title: Education Officer
