DanChurchAid (DCA) is a Danish development and humanitarian organisation. We work for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and believe in life before death. Our everyday work with development and relief aid strives to help the oppressed, neglected, and marginalised groups in our focus countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to strengthen their possibilities of a life in dignity. DCA is committed in promoting a rights-based approach, gender equity, and climate actions throughout our programme areas. DCA is implementing its five-year strategy (2022 to 2026), during which it expects to implement initiatives focusing on three thematic areas: (1) Fight Extreme Inequality; (2) Build Resilient Communities; and (3) Save Lives (Humanitarian Response and DRR). All our interventions in Nepal will be implemented under the umbrella of Climate Action, and Gender Equality will remain to be our cross-cutting commitments.

End Line Survey for NABIN Project
DCA is a Danish International Humanitarian and Development organization working in Nepal as a faith-based, non-missionary organization. DCA works for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and believes in life before death. Its work with development and relief aid strives to help the oppressed, neglected and marginalized groups to strengthen their possibilities to a life in dignity. DCA is also comprised of the volunteers, supporters, and staff working hard to save lives and fight injustice. Our vision is a world without hunger, poverty and oppression, in which popular and political powers constantly work strongly and actively for a just and sustainable distribution and use of the earth’s resources. In Nepal, DCA’s work focuses on active citizenship for accountable governance, resilient livelihood and sustainable food security and humanitarian response and disaster risk reduction.
This Terms of Reference (ToR) is developed to solicit consultancy service from qualified consultant or organization to undertake the End Line Survey for “NABIN – New and Affordable Building Materials Promoting Sustainability in Nepal” Project in 19 districts of Nepal. Out of 19 districts, 12 districts are affected by 2015 massive earthquake and 7 districts are affected by 2018 flood in province number 2. In this study, the end-value of the impact, outcome and output level indicators will be measured and utilise as a milestone to compare with base-line values. The name list of districts and list of impact, outcome and output level indicators are attached in Annex 1 and Annex 2 respectively.
