WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization, established in 1981, determined to make clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. We change millions of lives every year, working in 28 countries to provide clean water, decent toilets, and good hygiene. WaterAid has been working in Nepal since 1987. 

WaterAid Nepal is committed to make meaningful contributions towards ending the WASH crisis in Nepal by addressing the barriers to WASH and focusing on two strategic aims contributing to Nepal’s national priorities and WaterAid’s global ambition. The first aim is to demonstrate universal access to WASH in selected subnational areas to establish resilient, inclusive services that will influence wider change and the other aim is to prioritise gender-responsive WASH in the health sector for improved public health. These aims will incorporate the challenges of building resilience to climate change and addressing the financing gaps. 

WaterAid Nepal aims to update its roster of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) having experience in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) sector in service delivery, policy, influencing, and sector strengthening. Local NGOs registered in Siraha, Kavrepalanchowk, Bardiya, Kathmandu, and Lalitpur districts are requested to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by completing the 2 forms (Click for the link to download template) through email: Nepal-procurement@wateraid.org. Please submit the forms no later than 7th January 2024.
