Promoting Resilience of Poor and Vulnerable Communities in Lumbini Province of Nepal (PRVC) Project

Background

Islamic Relief Worldwide began its operations in Nepal in April 2015 in response to a devastating earthquake that claimed 9,000 lives and left 2.8 million people in need of humanitarian assistance. Since then, Islamic Relief has focused on enhancing community resilience through protection and disaster risk reduction Programme ensuring access to safe water and sanitation and supporting food security and livelihood initiatives.

Islamic Relief Nepal Project, Promoting Resilience of Poor and Vulnerable Communities in Lumbini Province of Nepal (PRVC) is running till November 2025 in four municipalities of Rupandehi and Kapilvastu districts (Lumbini Province). The project aims for improving wellbeing, food security, WASH and resilience among the poor and vulnerable affected by Climate change. Implemented by the Lumbini Integrated Development Organization (LIDO), the project has been supporting the promotion of small-scale entrepreneurship. This includes the provision of materials support and regularly mobilizing the enterprise development facilitators (EDFs) to guide and assist the rightsholders in business development journey. To ensure the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of the project efforts, Islamic relief Nepal plans to enhance the capacity of its partner staff through a Business Coaching and mentoring. This program will build their competencies in mentoring and coaching small-scale entrepreneurs, enabling them to provide tailored, hands-on support to the rightsholders for the remaining period of the project.

Application Requirement 

Interested candidates, firms, and agencies are mandatory to submit the following documents by 25 May 2025 with the subject REF: Conducting Business Coaching Training for Partner Staff  to info.nepal@islamic-relief.org.np

Applicants must provide technical and financial offers, including:

• Technical offer includes a brief methodology and training schedule. The technical offer should not exceed 1 page and must comply with the Terms of Reference.  (Outlining the approach and methodology)
• Financial offer detailing the proposed budget for the training (with detailed breakdown)

(Note: Residential cost, training material, airfare/ bus fare and stationary items will be managed by Islamic Relief Nepal.)

• Legal documents (Education, CV, Citizenship, PAN registration card for individuals).
• Sample of similar previous work

For firms/agencies the following additional documents must be submitted in addition to the above:

• Valid certificate of company registration
• Valid copy of tax registration certificate (VAT)
• Latest Tax clearance certificate

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. IR Nepal reserves the right to reject any or all proposals without providing any reason.
