Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP) is a national network of 43 peace and human rights non-governmental organizations from 29 different districts of Nepal.  It aims to provide a common space for its members, volunteers and friends to collectively engage in the pursuit for peace, human rights, social protection and justice in Nepal.

COCAP has been implementing a project (Access to Justice) in Butwal of Lumbini province and Birendranagar, Surkhet of Karnali province. For effective functioning of the project and secretariats, COCAP invites application from eligible Nepalese citizens who are committed, reliable and have ability to deliver results for the position of Provincial Focal Person (PFP). Details are as follows:

Job Title: Provincial Focal Person (PFP).

No. of position: 2

Duration: 31st December 2021 with possibility of extension.                

Work Station: 1 for Butwal (Lumbini Province) and 1 for Birendranagar, Surkhet (Karnali Province).

Salary: Negotiable.

Reports to: Program Coordinator.

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Organize meetings with concerned stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Frequent visit to project implementation area and also take full initiation during field visit of concerned people from National Secretariat and Donor.
• Provide timely coordination and technical support to Member Organizations (MOs). Support also needs to be provided during proposal writing, translations, arranging workshops/discussions and conducting programs. 
• Prepare reports (monthly, quarterly and annual) of works done under the project.
• Actively engage in Fundraising for Provincial Secretariat.
• Work under regular coordination with concerned staff of the project stationed in National Secretariat, Program Manager, Administration and Finance Coordinator, COCAP Board Members as and when required.
• Financial Reporting in coordination with Administration and Finance Coordinator.
• Maintain regular communication with COCAP Provincial Committee (Board), National Secretariat, Supervisor and Project Head at National Secretariat and Member Organizations within the province.
• Establish working relationship of COCAP and its MOs with Civil Society Organizations, Elected Representatives, Concerned Municipality / Rural Municipality, Security Agencies, Experts, Educational Institutions, Like Minded Organizations, Donor Agencies stationed in the Province.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science or any related field.
• Two years of relevant work experience (preferably within I/NGO environment).
• Knowledge and understanding on issues relating to Human Rights, Peace, Social 
• Protection and Democracy in Nepal.
• Fluency as well as strong speaking and writing skills in Nepali and English language.
• Command over MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Networking and Coordination skill.
• Knowledge on Project and Financial Management.
• Nepali and English typing.
