Position: Province Head

Organization: Beema Dokaan

Location: Assigned Provincial Office

Reports To: Manager / Operations Director

1. Background

Beema Dokaan is Nepal’s pioneering digital insurance marketplace, offering accessible, affordable, and transparent insurance solutions through innovative digital platforms. With a strong focus on customer-centric service and technological advancement, Beema Dokaan aims to transform Nepal’s insurance ecosystem.

The Province Head will serve as a key leadership role, responsible for driving business growth, strengthening operational efficiency, and expanding provincial-level outreach.

2. Objectives of the Assignment

  • Provide leadership for provincial operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
  • Drive business expansion and achieve defined sales and growth targets.
  • Build and strengthen the agent and partner network across the assigned province.
  • Support digital financial literacy, insurance awareness, and community outreach initiatives.

3. Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee overall provincial operations and maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Implement strategic initiatives and digital tools issued by the central office.
  • Manage workflow, operational processes, and reporting systems efficiently.

Business Development & Growth

  • Develop and execute provincial business plans aligned with the organization’s goals.
  • Achieve monthly and annual business targets.
  • Expand coverage of insurance products including life, health, general, digital policy management, and EMI-based premium services.

Agent & Partner Management

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise agents and field representatives.
  • Ensure agent productivity, motivation, and retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local insurers, cooperatives, and other stakeholders.

Market Expansion & Customer Engagement

  • Conduct market mapping and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Promote insurance literacy across communities through outreach and awareness programs.
  • Ensure strong customer service delivery and resolve client issues promptly.

Monitoring, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Track performance indicators and submit regular progress reports to the central team.
  • Identify operational or market risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work to reduce policy surrender rates by promoting flexible and sustainable models.

4. Deliverables

  • Monthly and quarterly business performance reports.
  • Growth in the active agent network and customer base.
  • Achievement of assigned business and sales targets.
  • Effective implementation of digital insurance initiatives at the provincial level.

5. Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, Finance, or related fields (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in insurance, finance, or sales leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and meet targets.
  • Tech-friendly, self-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Prior experience in FMCG, cooperative marketing, or insurance marketing will be considered an added advantage.

6. Duration of Assignment

Full-time position with annual performance-based renewal.

7. Remuneration

Competitive salary with attractive performance-based incentives. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
