The How: DAAYITWA, with a focus on economic empowerment, envisions an enterprising Nepal where every youth has opportunities for a prosperous future. Daayitwa is a part of the Daayitwa Abhiyaan which consists of four organizations: Daayitwa, Governance Lab, Nepal Leadership Academy based in Nepal and Nepal Rising (Daayitwa-US) based in the U.S. Inspired by shared values of innovation, collaboration, and service, it promotes the socio- economic development of Nepal. The movement fosters inclusive and equitable economic growth by accelerating grassroots innovations, strengthening government institutions, and revitalizing a virtuous cycle of democracy and development through grassroots-government collaboration.

Role Overview:
As a Province Assistant (PA), you will provide comprehensive administrative, programmatic, and logistical support to Daayitwa’s initiatives at the provincial level—including the Growth Entrepreneurship and Employment Promotion (GEEP) and Chief Minister Public Governance Fellowship programs. You will support the Province Coordinator in executing program activities, engaging stakeholders, managing finances, and ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange logistics for field visits, meetings, workshops, training sessions, and reflection events.
- Support financial processes including advance requests, settlements, bill collection, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of program activities, fellows’ progress, entrepreneur data, and financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing contracts for vendors, and service providers.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with provincial/local governments, fellows, entrepreneurs, and other partners.
- Draft reports, meeting minutes, case stories, and updates for internal and external sharing.
- Assist coordinating capacity-building sessions for entrepreneurs, fellows, and local stakeholders.
- Collect success stories, photographs, and impact metrics, and support social media and community outreach.
- Participate in program evaluations and learning sessions, sharing insights to strengthen implementation.
- Provide operational and coordination support for other Daayitwa initiatives in the province as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Development Studies, Community Development or related fields.
- Experience: 1–2 years in administrative/program support roles, preferably in entrepreneurship, rural development, or governance projects.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry, and basic financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills in Nepali and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to dynamic environments.
Additional information
Compensation: Compensation: Daayitwa will provide compensation on a monthly rate basis. The rate will be mutually agreed upon, commensurate with the level of the required deliverables, the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
