About Circular Nepal

Circular Nepal is working to promote sustainable waste management, circular economy practices, and inclusive livelihood opportunities through community-based approaches. Circular Nepal is working with municipalities, communities, women’s groups, schools, and other local stakeholders to promote sustainable waste management and create opportunities for inclusive and circular livelihoods.

We are looking for a motivated and organized CS Mentor to support the planning, coordination, implementation, documentation, and reporting of project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and coordination of project activities in line with approved workplans, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop and follow up on weekly and monthly activity schedules and coordinate with project team members and stakeholders.
• Liaise with municipalities, ward offices, schools, women’s groups, community organizations, beneficiaries, and other local partners to facilitate project activities, trainings, meetings, and field visits.
• Maintain project documentation, including attendance, timesheets, activity trackers, photographs, meeting records, and other supporting documents.
• Support data collection, verification, timesheet review, and proper maintenance of project records.
• Draft and compile progress reports, QPRs, completion reports, activity updates, and other project documents, and support timely information collection for donor reporting.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Rural Development, Environmental Science, Project Management, Public Administration, Sustainability, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in project coordination, development projects, community engagement, documentation, reporting, or a related field. Fresh graduates with strong interest and relevant academic experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of project planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali.
• Good report-writing and documentation skills.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with municipalities, ward offices, community groups, women's groups, schools, and other stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and participate in field activities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
