Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, RDC Nepal started working in Garuda and Madhav Narayan Municipalities of Rautahat district. So, RDC Nepal seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions for smooth implementation of Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (CESP) Positive Deviance (PD) Hearth and Ultra Poor Graduation (UPG) project(s).

Key Skills and Knowledge
1Programme Officer- Health+CESP (1- Nos.)
Bachelor’s degree in public health or in any relevant discipline with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Sector knowledge on maternal child health and nutrition (Infant and Young Child Feeding practices (IYCF), Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM), Maternal and infant young child nutrition (MIYCN), Multi sector Nutrition Plan (MSNP))
  • Government policies, strategies and training packages (Comprehensive Nutrition Package)
  • Informed and able to disseminate WVIN NRL TP and priorities, core project model (PD Hearth and Citizen Voice and Action (CVA)) – Highly Desirable
  • Sound knowledge on behavior change communication approaches, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) approach
  • Updated knowledge of COVID-19 and changing context
  • Stakeholder’s mapping skills for broader benefit of the project
  • Good meeting facilitation and documentation skills
  • Capacity to identify local advocacy issues around NRL programming
  • Produce database monitoring and interpretation skill
  • Presentation skills in different forum and network
  • Valid 2-wheeler driving license.
