Heifer Project International Nepal (HPIN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for earth by providing livestock, education, and other resources to help poor families become self-reliant. HPIN invites application from eligible Nepali citizens for the following position:

Program Officer- Prototype Support

Major Roles and Responsibility:

The Program Officer – Prototype Support position will manage the prototype component of the project Strengthening Smallholder Enterprises of Livestock Value Chain for Poverty Reduction and Economic Growth in Nepal (SLVCII). S/He will support in execution, track milestones, reporting and recommendation for scaling up. 

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Management, Social Science or a related field plus three (3) years of related experience is required. 

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience working in socio-economic, agricultural or development related research.
• Experience in facilitating agribusiness, specifically branding marketing side 
• Other job-related education and experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements.
