Forum for Nation Building Nepal (FNB Nepal) is a non-profit making organization established in March, 2013 by youths of Nepal. FNB Nepal is working on access to justice, human rights, migration, disaster, local government, mediation and other emerging social issues. FNB Nepal has been operating through its three districts and one central office.
FNB Nepal announces job vacancies for the following positions.
1. Program Assistant (Full Time)
Number of Position: One (1)
Major Responsibilities: · S/he will be responsible for assisting the Project Coordinator. She is also responsible for assisting the planning, report & proposal writing, project implementation, communication, coordination and reporting activities including other tasks of the relevant project as directed by the management.
Other responsibilities
Responsible for documentation all project activities and assisting the preparation of reports.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and final report of the project.
Work in close coordination with project team and assist the project
Responsible for effective implementation project activities.
Support the Coordinator to prepare the work plan and assist to generate the good reports, IEC materials and other relevant documents related with the project.
Support for effective implementation of the project.
Represent organization when requested.
Carryout any other responsibility as required as assigned by the organization.
Required Qualification and Skills:
· At least 10+2 pass from any discipline preferably in Social Science and Law.
· At least 1 year of proven work experience in project implementation preferably relating to migration, human rights or other related field,
· Strong communication, presentation, writing and speaking skills both in English and Nepali,
· Knowledge of business development, resource management, administrative works and computer applications
Project Duration: 9 months
Duty Station: FNB Nepal Office, Kathmandu
2. Finance and Admin. Officer (Part Time)
Number of Position: One (1)
Major Responsibilities: S/he will be responsible for overall financial records and maintaining the books of accounts. S/he will also be responsible for communication, procurement, logistic management and other administrative works.
Other responsibilities
· Responsible for maintaining books of accounts and necessary financial evidences required for auditing.
· Support board and coordinator for effective use of budget as mentioned the project proposal.
· Review and oversee the preparation of budgetary and implementation reports.
· Work in close coordination with project team and assist the project team
· Leader in all administrative and financial activities related to the project.
· Responsible for effective implementation project activities.
· Support the board and FNB team to prepare the budgetary work plan and assist to generate the good financial reports. Support for effective implementation of the project.
· Represent organization when requested.
· Carryout any other responsibility as required as assigned by the organization.
· Manage overall admin and financial documents related to the project and keep update information related to financial expenditure of the project.
· Bring significant issues arising from budget analysis and trend forecasting to the attention of senior management.
In addition to the main duties and responsibilities above, the Admin Finance Officer may be required to undertake other related tasks that contribute to the aims and activities of the project.
Required Qualification and Skills:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in independently handling budgeting, financial accounting, planning and analysis in I/NGO work.

- Prepare and submit quarterly statement of expenditure, conduct audit as per the rules and regulations of the government and non-government organization.
- Prepare qualitative audit report reflecting managerial issues and weakness of the program and their solutions.
