Human Right and Environment Development Center (HURENDEC), Nepal is a non-profit making, non-political and secular organization. It was registered in 1994 with District Administration Office, Udayapur under Organization Registration Act 2034 B.S. HURENDEC Udayapur, established in 2050 BS with a goal to promote human rights, child rights, peace and livelihood through people’s collective empowerment. HURENDEC Udayapur is continuously being supported by different national, international donors and I/NGOs as well as government of Nepal.

In partnership with Vision International Nepal, HURENDEC is initiating work on “HATEMALO” for Child Wellbeing through different core project models and Integrated Program Framework (IPF) in two Municipalities Triyuga and Katari, and Four Rural Municipalities Rautamai, Limchingbung, Udayapurgadhi and Tapli.

To implement the Integrated Program Framework (IPF), HURENDEC is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions.

  • Knowledge of value chain analysis and effects on poor producers
  • Knowledge of primary production and agriculture and market-led projects
  • Understanding of market development projects and methods
  • Experience in working with community-based organizations
  • Strong experience in networking with facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Monthly budget forecast and planning, quarterly expense tracking and review of expenses.
  • Good report writing skills for semi-annual and annual reports
  • Sound skills in capacity assessment/training need assessment process and tools for staffs and target group and project staff mentoring and onsite support

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience on relevant position or green business model/climate smart business/environmental sustainability and climate actions related projects.
  • Experiences of projects on environmental sustainability, climate action under livelihood, food security, agriculture sector
  • Good understanding of green business models with knowledge of primary production and agriculture and market-led projects
  • Understanding of Environmental issues with problem-solving skills to address complex environmental challenges.
  • Experience in working with diverse stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector and community-based organizations
  • Has strong training and facilitation skills

3Women Economic Empowerment (WEE) Officer-01Bachelor's in agriculture, economics, social work, sociology or related field
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience on relevant position or women economic empowerment related projects.
  • In-depth knowledge on Women’s economic empowerment approaches
  • Knowledge and experience of implementing women’s economic empowerment or livelihood projects (with WEE outcomes), technical and vocational skill training, engagement with financial service providers (FSPs), and business plan development.
  • Advocacy knowledge with local government for policy development and implementation. Strong Understanding of WEE, GEDSI, community-led activities and local advocacy Experience in working with diverse stakeholders, including community members, government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector and community-based organizations
  • Strong training and facilitation skills

4MEAL Officer -01Bachelor's degree in Humanities, Education, Business Studies or related fields
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, or learning functions, preferably in NGO/INGO settings.
  • Experience using MS Excel, or other digital data collection platforms.
  • Good analytical, report-writing, and facilitation skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and community engagement principles.
  • Data collection methodologies – qualitative and quantitative
  • Effective written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
