Established in the year 2006, the Ullens School offers a balanced curriculum within the framework of the Nepal Government's National Curriculum for Grades 1-10 through the Ullens approach to teaching and learning. Ullens School is the first IB World School in Nepal that has been authorized by the Government of Nepal to run the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The school has been operating the IBDP since 2009. Ullens School started offering grades 11 & 12 of the National Examination Board from the year 2012. The school maintains a partnership with the Bank Street College of Education, New York, a pioneer in innovative and progressive education. Ullens School is looking for a highly motivated candidate for the position of Middle School Coordinator (Tier III). The candidate is expected to have a good pedagogical understanding with a commitment to fostering a dynamic teaching-learning environment for students and teachers. The candidate must have a variety of skills, including leadership, positive motivation, adaptability, interpersonal skills, enthusiasm to work with 11 to 14 year olds.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide teachers in helping them grow professionally through trainings and mentorship.
- Design developmentally and age-appropriate activities in alignment with the curriculum to enrich the program
- Promote collaboration among teachers to enhance instructional strategies and create a supportive and engaging environment for student learning.
- Monitor student progress and implement support programs as needed.
- Ensure a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Coordinate communication between students, parents, teachers, and school administration.
- Manage scheduling, assessments, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent – preference given to degree in education
- Long teaching experience at a progressive school or educational leadership positions in a school setting
- Strong leadership skills, passion for education, problem-solving skills,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and updated educational environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English/Nepali languages.
