Local Translator Consulting Opportunities with CRS implemented USAID-Farmer to Farmer  

CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting disease and poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. USAID funded additional livelihood technical assistance program in province 3,5,6 and 7. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal from March 2017.

CRS Nepal is implementing 5 years USAID Farmer-to-Farmer (F2F) program to provide technical assistance from United States (U.S) based technical experts to farmers, farmer groups (cooperatives and associations), agribusinesses and other agriculture sector institutions in the countries of Nepal, Benin, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, and East Timor. 

CRS Nepal invites roster applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following positions for F2F project:

Local Translator Consultant based in Kathmandu, Makwanpur(Daman, Hetauda, Bajrabarahi), Butwal, Dang-(Lamahi, Tulsipur, Ghorahi), Palpa, Banke (Nepalgunj), Bardia, Surkhet, Kailali (Dhangadi): 10+2 and above degree. Bachelor’s degree on science, agriculture, livestock and business administration will be preferred with field experience in Province 3, 5, Karnali&Sudurpaschim on agricultural and entrepreneurship development. Advantage for candidates who have hands on experience on translating, group facilitation and research.
