INF Nepal, established in 1952, is a Nepali non-government organization serving Nepali people through health and development work to improve the quality of life of individuals and community as whole. The organization works in four provinces (Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces) of Nepal to bring sustainable improvement in the health and development of individuals and communities by empowering communities, providing health care and preparing for disasters. In Community Health and Development, the major focused thematic areas are (i) livelihood and resilience (ii) disability inclusion/rehabilitation (iii) mother and neonatal child health (iv) Leprosy and NTDs. Similarly, GEDSI and climate change adaptation and disaster resilience are INF Nepal’s cross-cutting thematic areas.
INF Nepal requires the service of a qualified independent consultant to conduct a baseline survey for the project titled Inclusive Development Empowerment and Livelihood 2.0 (IDEAL) Project in Mugu district. The project aims to enhancing the quality of life for community in Mugu District, Nepal primarily working through Self-Help Groups (SHGs). Through these initiatives, SHGs and Cooperatives will be strengthened to improve financial inputs, supply chain linkage and market access. The project will also build capacity of SHG members to actively participate in household and community-level decision making, promote food sufficiency through climate-smart agriculture and mobilize local government resources while strengthening disaster preparedness, livelihood empowerment and access to health services.
INF Nepal invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from the Professionals/Experts/Qualified individuals and companies for above-mentioned baseline survey of IDEAL 2.0 Project, in Dang Districts.
Requirements for the lead consultant/consultancy are:
- Proven 3 to 5 years of experience conducting and leading baseline, end line study both in quantitative and qualitative data analysis particularly focusing on livelihood, health sector with a specific focus on integrating Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) principles throughout the survey process.
- Sound knowledge, skills and experience in research methodology and statistical analysis application along
- Experienced in leading research or carrying out baseline survey of integrated projects.
- Familiar with and willing to travel and work to remote rural villages
- The consultant must possess Master Degree’s in Agriculture or a relevant field from a recognized university and must be able to demonstrate relevant and extensive expertise in livelihood. Further the consultant must have experience in carrying out such baselines.
- The consultant has an excellent track record of interviewing/ engaging with beneficiaries
- Consultant/consultancy should be registered in VAT, latest renewal and tax clearance certificate

- The above documents shall be sent in envelope in sealed form to the following address no later than 5:00 PM of 9th December 2025 (23rd Mangsir, 2082).
