The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH operates worldwide and supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development. For many decades, it has implemented projects and programmes in different thematic areas throughout the world. It does this primarily on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), but also for other federal ministries and the European Union. 

GIZ supports the Nepalese Government and Civil Society Organisations in the implementation of different projects.

The purpose of this tender procedure is to conclude a framework agreement for the provision of legal advisory services to GIZ Nepal on a range of legal, regulatory, contractual, employment, labour, compliance, and other institutional matters, including the provision of legal opinions to GIZ Nepal by qualified most competent and experienced legal advisory company/firm during the term of the agreement. 

GIZ Office Kathmandu is soliciting proposals/bids from interested companies for the services.

Eligible criteria: The company should

• be registered with the Government of Nepal and have a PAN/VAT certificate as well as a tax clearance certificate up to 2081/82.
• The average annual turnover for the past three fiscal years must be a minimum of NPR 4 million
• List of reference projects on similar areas of service (at least 3)

A complete set of the tender document can be obtained upon submission of a formal application, sent to the following email address: NP_Inquiry@giz.de, before 20th November 2026, 5:00PM. The application should include: A copy of company registration certificate, copy of VAT/PAN Certificate, the latest tax clearance certificate, proven audit reports from past three years and company profile having 3 years of experience as mentioned under the eligibility criteria.

Should you be interested in implementing the tasks in accordance with the Annex 3 Terms of Reference, we requesting to submit sealed envelope labelled “Tender number (RFQ): 10061375 “Provide legal advisory services to GIZ Nepal”. The bid should be submitted in English only and must reach to later than 5:00PM, 30th November 2026.
