The Health Systems consultant will work under the leadership and supervision of the Senior Health System Advisor.

Duration: October 15th- December 7th, 2020

Duties and responsibilities of the assignment

• Review and update first trimester SAS training manual (Reference and Trainer).
• Ensure the training manual is aligned with WHO guideline, Clinical Update and Reproductive Health (CURH) and SMRHR act/regulation.
• Share the first draft of updated SAS training manual to Ipas Nepal by 15th Nov 2020 and submit the final document by 7th December 2020 with the input and approval from the relevant team of the government working for safe abortion training and program.
• Submit the final updated CAC training manual (e- copy).

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• The candidate must have Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in public health, general medicine or related disciplines.
• With 5 years or more experience in developing national training manuals/guidelines specifically in reproductive health.
• With excellent knowledge on national safe abortion policies and guidelines and sexual and reproductive health rights.
• Has strong writing skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team and flexible to adapt to challenging work environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
