Nepal Children Helping Program (NCHP) is a non-profit, non-political and non-religious non-governmental organization working in partnership with Little Stars - Kinder brauchen Zukunft e.V. Germany to promote the health and well-being of communities in Nepal.

Under a collaborative partnership among Little Stars, NCHP, and Kakani Rural Municipality, NCHP is establishing the Little Stars – Kakani Rural Municipality Integrated Community Health Center at Kakani Rural Municipality Ward No. 3, Dhunganagaun, Nuwakot.

Applications are invited from qualified and motivated candidates for the following position:

Position:  Health Assistant (HA) or CMA

Required Number: One (1)

Required Qualifications

• Health Assistant (HA) or CMA course completed from a recognized institution. 
• Registered with the Nepal Health Professional Council (NHPC). 
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience preferred. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently in a rural community setting. 
• Basic Computer skill.
• Basic English skill both oral and writing.

Major Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare services at the Community Health Center. 
• Maintain patient records and prepare regular reports. 
• Support implementation of government health programs and HMIS reporting. 
• Coordinate with local government, health authorities, donor Agency and community stakeholders. 
• Ensure quality healthcare services in accordance with national standards. 

Remuneration

Negotiable based on qualifications and experience.

Duty Station

Little Stars – Kakani Rural Municipality Integrated Community Health Center, Kakani Rural Municipality Ward No. 3, Dhunganagaun, Nuwakot.

The selected candidate will be required to stay overnight at the health center premises (free stay with internet facility) at least five (5) days per week to ensure the availability and continuity of health services for the local community.
