Head of Product Engineering

We are seeking Kathmandu based Head of Product Engineering for GrowByData. As we onboard major brands to support their growth in the AI era, this presents a tremendous opportunity for a confident and forward-thinking candidate. This role presents a unique opportunity to blend deep technical expertise with strategic leadership.

You will lead high-impact projects, mentor a growing analytics team, and collaborate with both onshore and offshore stakeholders to unlock actionable insights that drive data-informed decisions across the organization.

TITLE: Head of Product Engineering 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit, mentor and motivate superstar engineers in Kathmandu to work on cutting-edge products.
• Hands on code, prototype, troubleshoot and build enterprise grade products.
• Be AI first and infuse AI technologies into our existing infrastructure.
• Eager to learn and drive everything from large scale web data acquisition, massive data computation, multi-cloud infrastructure, and impactful strategic insights generation.
• Love to understand client needs and collaborate across departments to build the next generation of our products. 

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in Product Engineering.
• Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Expert-level proficiency in AI.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data driven decisions. 
• Understanding of the product vision, customer needs and market trends. 
• Experience working closely with engineers and cross functional teams.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field

EXPERIENCE

• Prior five or above working experience in the above- mentioned domain would be preferred and favorable.
