1. Finance Lead – 1 Post

Job Description:
The Finance Lead will lead and oversee the financial management of Food for Life Nepal, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements. The position is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and strengthening internal control systems to support the organization’s mission and growth.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall financial management of the organization, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Maintain strong internal control systems and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Oversee accounting operations, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and financial records.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, tax requirements, and donor guidelines.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Supervise and guide the Finance Team.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure effective utilization of funds.
- Support proposal budgeting and donor financial reporting.
- Strengthen financial systems and processes for organizational efficiency and transparency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as semi qualified CA/ACCA preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of income tax and vat, tds and vat return
- Experience in handling audits, donor reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
2. Procurement and Logistics Officer- 1 Post
Location: Budhanilkantha Branch- Head Office
Job Description:
The Procurement & Logistics Officer is responsible for supporting FFLN’s procurement and logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods, proper record-keeping, and efficient coordination with kitchens, vendors, and the Finance & Admin team. This role includes procurement planning, vendor management, asset verification, inventory tracking, and supporting organizational compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Procurement & Vendor Management:
- Source and purchase goods, services, and supplies for program and office needs.
- Research potential vendors, compare quotations, and recommend suppliers.
- Maintain vendor databases, contracts, and procurement records.
- Coordinate with Finance & Admin Manager for purchase approvals and payments.
- Operations cost calculation.
Logistics & Asset Management:
- Conduct 15-day visits to FFLN kitchens for procurement verification and coordination.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset records in trackers.
- Verify physical assets and ensure accountability of organizational property.
- Support the logistics of delivery, storage, and distribution of materials.
Record-Keeping & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed procurement, asset, and inventory records.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the Finance & Admin Manager.
- Assist in documentation for internal and external audits.
Coordination & Support:
- Collaborate with program and kitchen teams to understand material needs.
- Work closely with Finance & Admin for budgeting, payments, and compliance.
- Support organizational process improvement in procurement and logistics.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, inventory, or administration.
- Good knowledge of procurement procedures, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Experience in quotation comparison, purchase documentation, asset tracking, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
