INTRODUCTION

Joint Procurement for Food Support Program - Bhotekoshi Flood Response 2026 

Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is a non-profit, faith-inspired humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, food security, and sustainable development support to vulnerable communities around the world. IRW works based on the principles of compassion, justice, and dignity for all people, regardless of race, religion, or gender.

In Nepal, Islamic Relief has been working for over a decade, providing emergency relief and implementing development programs for vulnerable communities. IRW is registered with the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens and the Social Welfare Council and works closely with government authorities, local communities, and partner organizations.

The Dalit Society Welfare Committee Nepal (DSWCN) is a non-governmental organization established in October 2001 and registered with the District Administration Office (DAO), Mahottari. DSWCN works for the welfare and development of children, youth, and women in areas such as health, education, water and sanitation, environmental sustainability, livelihoods, income generation, disaster management, conflict resolution, information technology, and other rights-based issues.

Joint Procurement

This procurement is being conducted as a joint procurement between Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) Nepal and Dalit Society Welfare Committee Nepal (DSWCN) for the provision of food support to families affected by the Bhotekoshi Flood Response 2026.

Both organizations are working together to support flood-affected communities and ensure the timely procurement and distribution of essential food items to the affected families. The procurement process is therefore being carried out jointly by IRW Nepal and DSWCN in coordination with the respective organizational requirements and procedures.
