Finance Assistant/Intern

Description

The Innovia Group LLC is looking for a Finance Intern/Assistant with view to permanent position in the company. The intern/assistant filling this role will have a wide range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle regular bookkeeping entries of Nepal office and US office in cloud based accounting softwares- Xero and Quickbooks Online. 
• Assist in running weekly payroll for the US office and monthly for the Nepal Office.
• Assist in creating monthly budget reports for Nepal and handling the wire transfers from the US office.
• Conduct weekly bank and credit card reconciliations of both Nepal and US office.
• Manage petty cash on a daily basis and create petty cash report on a monthly basis.
• Assist in preparing different financial reports.
• Regular bank, CIT and tax office visits.
• Handle other office administrative duties.
• Assist in preparing invoices on a weekly basis to offshore clients
• Assist in managing the vendor payments.

Requirements

• Bachelors/Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business Studies/Business Administration or part qualified ACCA.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications especially Ms Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must for this position.
