Save the Saptari, a non-profitable social development & humanitarian organization based in Saptari district is announcing vacancy for “Quality education- leaving no one behind” funded by Save the Children aiming The program focuses mainly to improve the participation of civil society in the education sector to increase effective and inclusive implementation of the national education policy by strengthening civil society’s role in promoting inclusive access to quality education for all in Saptari  and Mahottari district. Eligible candidates are requested to apply for the following positions:

1. Position: Project Coordinator -1

Qualification and experiences:

• Bachelor’s in Education, Sociology, development studies or equivalent degree from the recognized university
• Having at least 5 years of similar experience with I/NGOs and government offices especially in the Terai region of Nepal as well as project planning, implementation, and management
• Advance computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages.

Assignment:

• 40% Office based work including coordination and reporting and 60% Fieldworks including supervision and backstopping (may modify as upon program requirement).

2. Position: Education Officer -2

Qualification and experiences:

• Bachelor’s in Education, Sociology, development studies or equivalent degree from the recognized university
• Having at least 3 years of similar experience with I/NGOs and government offices especially in the Terai region of Nepal as well as project planning, implementation, and management
• Advance computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages.

Assignment:

• 30% Office based work including coordination and reporting and 70% Fieldworks including supervision and backstopping (may modify as upon program requirement).

3. Position: Admin and Finance Officer – 1

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent with specialization in Accounting or Finance having 3 years of experiences in accounting and management of finances of I/NGOs. Advance computer skills especially excel spreadsheet, MS word and power points are essential for the position. Knowledge of FAMAS accounting package will be an advantage. Fluency of reading, writing and speaking in English, Nepali and local languages are pre-requisite for the position.

Assignment: 80% Office based works including finance and administrative project works and monthly reporting and 20% Field based work including assurance of inputs supply, quality and verification (may modify as upon program requirement).

4. Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer– 1

Qualification and experiences: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent having 3 years of relevant experiences in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning as well as documentation & data management along with advance computer skills and fluent in speaking & report writing in English, Nepali and local languages. The advantages will be given to statistics background.

Assignment: 30% Office based works including information updates, reporting and database management and 70% Field based work including assurance of program quality as per basis of set standards and field visit & supervision (may modify as upon program requirement)

5. Position: Office Support Staff –1

Qualification and experiences: SLC or equivalent having 1 years of relevant experiences in related field and fluent in speaking Nepali and local languages. The Applicant who have high commitment to contribute long time in the organization is highly encouraged to apply.

Assignment: 100% Office based work.

Safeguarding: Save the Saptari adheres safeguarding policy, including its child safeguarding and Global Anti-harassment policy with high importance and commit rigorous. Procedures to ensure allow personal and programs safe for children.
