Vacancy Announcement

Organization Background:

‘Kids of Kathmandu’ is established with a belief that a comprehensive approach to quality education is one of the most fundamental ways to improve the future of the children of Nepal. ‘Kids of Kathmandu’ has been committed to creating a solid foundation for the marginalized and vulnerable groups of children so that they can grow into responsible, productive, and thoughtful individuals, finding their own true potential.

Project background:

The gap that exists between teaching-learning styles of private and public schools is undeniable. The major reason why the gap exists is the persistence of public school teachers in using traditional passive learning models. Another reason why public schools lag behind in good results is due to the absence of qualified teachers.

We offer a digital platform to the students where they are exposed to some of the best teachers in Nepal. We develop video content as teaching materials that focus on subjects, like mathematics and science, that students often struggle with getting good grades. This project targets public school students who are still unfamiliar with the use of technology in the classroom and helps them learn during the absence of teachers.
