We are a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political organization established in 2019. We aim to strengthen the capacity of implementation science research to improve public health in Nepal. As part of our commitment to excellence, we seek a qualified and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Officer.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Field Supervisor to support qualitative research projects in Sindhupalchowk district. The successful candidate will work closely with the research team to collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative data, contributing to advancing knowledge in public health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Project Coordinator and other team members to effectively implement and manage project activities.
- Organize and oversee qualitative data collection activities in coordination with FCHVs, health facilities, and municipal authorities.
- Assist in preparing comprehensive reports summarizing project activities, achievements, challenges, and financial aspects, summarize findings, and prepare draft reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in developing data collection tools, interview guides, and protocols.
- Accurate transcription and organization of qualitative data.
- Maintain regular communication with community stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
- Ensure that all research activities comply with ethical guidelines, including securing informed consent and maintaining confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of certificate level Health Sciences, Nursing, Social Sciences, or related discipline. Bachelor’s degree in the above mentioned disciplines will be an added advantage.
- Experience in qualitative research methods, including interviews and/or focus groups.
- Prior experience in thematic coding and analysis.
- Proficiency with qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, Dedoose).
- Excellent written and verbal Proficiency in English and Nepali Language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with research ethics and IRB processes.
