Expression of Interest for Supply of Light Search & Rescue Materials and Ready 2GO Bags

Koshi Victim’s Society (KVS) is a non-governmental, non-profit making social organization established in May 2003 and based in Rajbiraj of Saptari district in Nepal. KVS registered at District Administration Office, Saptari is affiliated with Social Welfare Council of Nepal. KVS has been working in the field of community mobilization and development, community-based disaster risk reduction, flood recovery, WASH, livelihood etc. in partnership with different development agencies. KVS is the District Lead Support Agency (DLSA) in Saptari and supports the local government for coordination in disaster preparedness, response and recovery plan and programs, disaster data information management support, preparing of local plans and policies and reporting and documentation.

KVS as an implementing partner of SAKSHAM is responsible for overall management and delivery of the project at local level; 4 municipalities, 15 wards and 30 communities. KVS under SAKSHAM program is looking for registered suppliers or companies for the supply of Light Search & Rescue Materials and Ready2GO Bags.

A. set of Light Search & Rescue Materials: The purpose of the light search and rescue materials set is that the Community Disaster Management Committee (CDMC) can operate primary rescue action within community during flood or any kinds of disaster. The number of sets can vary based on the quoted price. The requirements of the sets are as : https://Material-requirements/attachement-A/

B. Ready2GO Bags: Koshi Victim’s Society Saptari is looking for 250 Ready2GO Bags. The purpose of the bag is that the poor, marginalized and vulnerable households living in the flood plains can evacuate with their necessary belongings (documents, valuable assets, medicines, emergency food and water etc.) to a safer place whenever there is a flood early warning. The number of bags can vary based on the quoted price. The requirements of the bag are as: https://Bag-requirements/Attachement-B/

Interested suppliers of rescue materials, bag manufacturer or supplier are requested to provide the following documents as an expression of interest. 

1. Registration document. 
2. Tax Clearance documents.
3. Organizational profile and proof of similar work.
4. A detailed specification of the materials used. 
5. A detailed design of the bag with dimension (photo or sketch of top, front, side and back views)
6. Quotation mentioning the price of bag. The price should clearly indicate associated costs: VAT and taxes, 3 logos printing, packaging and transportation to Rajbiraj, Saptari.
7. Any quality assurance document will be an added value.

The interested manufactures or suppliers can send quotation for both light search and rescue materials and Ready2GO bag or any one as interested.
