Vendor Listing and Pre-Qualification of Suppliers for Emergency Shelter, WASH and Winter NFI Packages

1. Background

Support Activities for Poor Producers of Nepal (SAPPROS-NEPAL) is a leading national non-governmental organization with over 35 years of experience in poverty reduction, economic inclusion, community empowerment, sustainable rural development, disaster risk management and humanitarian response. Through more than 150 projects across 68 districts, SAPPROS-NEPAL has reached over 650,000 households throughout Nepal.

Following the recent Bhotekoshi–Trishuli flood devastation in Rasuwa and surrounding affected areas, SAPPROS-NEPAL anticipates increased requirements for emergency shelter materials, WASH supplies, winter non-food items and other lifesaving commodities. To ensure timely, transparent and efficient emergency procurement when financial resources become available, SAPPROS-NEPAL is establishing a pre-qualified vendor roster consisting of capable suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and service providers..

2. Purpose and Legal Status of this Notice

This EOI is a request for information and pre-qualification only. The selected vendors may be invited for RFQ/tender processes when funding availability is confirmed, and procurement needs arise. It is not a tender, a request for quotation, or an offer capable of acceptance, and it does not bind SAPPROS-NEPAL to purchase any goods or award any contract to any applicant.
