To strengthen our nationwide technical and operational capacity, we invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified, experienced, and motivated professionals to join our Roster of Provincial Coordinators (7 Positions) and Sectoral Lead Experts for current and upcoming consultancy assignments across Nepal.
1. Position: Provincial Coordinators (7 Positions – One in Each Province, Based at the Provincial Headquarters)
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as the provincial focal person and official representative of USP Consultancy in the assigned province.
- Coordinate the planning, implementation, monitoring, quality assurance, and reporting of consultancy assignments at the provincial level.
- Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with provincial and local governments, development partners, academic institutions, NGOs, the private sector, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate field research, surveys, assessments, evaluations, baseline, midline and endline studies, impact evaluations, training programmes, workshops, consultation meetings, and validation events.
- Recruit, supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to field teams, enumerators, researchers, and consultants.
- Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining the highest standards of technical quality and professional ethics.
- Identify, pursue, and facilitate consultancy opportunities and strategic partnerships within the assigned province.
- Support proposal development, stakeholder engagement, and business development initiatives.
- Represent USP Consultancy in provincial-level meetings, technical forums, workshops, and networking events.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned by USP Consultancy.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold at least a Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Have successfully completed at least 25 research, evaluation, assessment, policy, or consultancy assignments.
- Be a permanent resident of the respective province.
- Be a permanent resident of the respective province and permanently reside at, or be willing to permanently relocate to, the provincial headquarters of that province.
- Demonstrate excellent leadership, coordination, networking, communication, stakeholder engagement, and report-writing skills.
- Possess a sound understanding of provincial governance, public policy, and the development context of the respective province.
2. Position: Sectoral Lead Experts (Roster)

- Any other sector relevant to USP Consultancy's areas of work.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership in the assigned sector.
- Lead the design of research methodologies, analytical frameworks, evaluation designs, and implementation strategies.
- Prepare technical proposals, concept notes, methodologies, work plans, and technical reports.
- Develop research tools, quality assurance protocols, analytical frameworks, and data collection instruments.
- Lead quantitative and qualitative data analysis and prepare high-quality evidence-based reports.
- Facilitate stakeholder consultations, technical discussions, validation workshops, and dissemination events.
- Mentor project teams and provide technical guidance throughout assignment implementation.
- Contribute to policy briefs, publications, knowledge products, and organizational learning.
- Ensure technical excellence and compliance with client requirements and international professional standards.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold at least a Master's degree in the relevant field (PhD preferred).
- Have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in the relevant sector.
- Have successfully completed at least 25 research studies, including at least 10 assignments in the specified role.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical, technical writing, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with government agencies, development partners, UN agencies, bilateral and multilateral organizations, INGOs, NGOs, academic institutions, or the private sector will be an added advantage.
