Since its inception in 1964 in Nepal, VSO has evolved its focus from service delivery in remote districts to its current approach of developing organizational, managerial and civil society capacities to address poverty. Its key strengths are leadership in volunteering approach and ability to work at community level where the needs are the greatest, sharing skills and experience strategically with people and organizations with the potential to effectively contribute to development in Nepal.

Empowering a New Generation of Adolescent Girls with Education (ENGAGE) is a consortium project, funded by the Department for International Development (DFID). VSO is leading the project and Humanity & Inclusion (HI) has been taking technical lead on disability and inclusion. Banke, Parsa and Sarlahi are the project districts. ENGAGE project has been developed and implemented to support Nepal government’s “School Sector Development Plan (2016-2023) - SSDP” for access to quality education, improve the learning achievement, promoting good governance, efficiency and resilience. Project supports to provide non-formal to formal education and non-formal education to livelihood vocational/entrepreneurial skill development and their utilization opportunities for out of schoolgirls and children with disabilities.

VSO Nepal will be running procurement process for the provision of procuring learning materials for hubs in 3 districts (Banke, Parsa and Sarlahi) and is seeking expressions of interest along with quotation from suitably experienced companies/organization.

The appointed vendor will be required to supply “Learning Materials” as listed below:

Expressions of interest: Organizations/companies which have experience and expertise in this area should send their Expression of Interest (EOI) along with quotation containing a contact name, company name, company address, phone and email address along with evidence of valid company/firm registration certificate, VAT/PAN registration certificate, and latest tax clearance certificate of FY 2077/78. Please send us the above required documents in sealed envelope to the address below on or before 25th May, 2022.
