In 2000, Rural Education and Environment Development Center (REED-Nepal) was established with the goal of ensuring quality education for Nepali Children, it was founded as a Nepali NGO to consolidate the Teacher Training Program. Since its inception, REED-Nepal has followed Sir Hillary's footsteps to mountainous region; North East of Nepal, the home of Mount Everest and Himalayas. Annually, REED-Nepal works with 200 schools, over 8000 thousand teachers and community members over the mountainous terrain.

REED-Nepal has a holistic approach to ensuring quality education. The organization works with teachers, school management committee, parents and community members, With the support of its funding partners, the Australian Himalayan Foundation, Himalayan Trust, New Zealand and Himalayan Trust, UK and KarunaTrust/BMZ, REED-Nepal has 4 key programs-Teacher training, School supplies and infrastructure, Scholarships for disadvantaged students, Community orientation program.

Reed-Nepal invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested firms, companies and association for the supplies of following goods and services during fiscal year 2020-21.
